Koelnmesse was established in 1922 and belongs now to the top trade fair organizers in the world. With 11 exhibition halls offering 284,000 sqm of indoor and some 100,000 sqm of outdoor space, Koelnmesse is ranked fifth in the world in terms of size. Messe Duesseldorf

Based on Duesseldorf's long history of trade fairs, the trade fair organization now named Messe Duesseldorf was founded in 1947. Organizing some 50 international trade fairs, including 24 leading events in their respective sectors, Messe Duesseldorf is one of the largest in the industry. The total exhibition space consists of 305,700 sqm (of which indoor: 262,700 sqm) and 19 halls. The turnover amounted to EUR 400 million in 2016.
